Friday

Sherman and I are about to head out to the National Sports Collector's Convention and the girls are going to get there hair and makeup done for Wicked tonight. I am bringing a jersey to get signed by Ryne Sandberg!!! We had a really packed and fun day yesterday at Navy Pier. We took a midday cruise of Lake Michigan just as it started raining. It rained about 30 minutes while we were eating which worked out perfectly. We then began exploring the pier and did a lot of cool stuff...rode the Ferris Wheel, went through the fun maze, did some shopping, etc. We also went the top of the Hancock Building yesterday. It was an awesome view and I got my 1st glimpse of Wrigley Field. We have not put any pictures up due to time and not having internet in the room. I will try to put some when we have some down time.

Thursday

We got here with no problems yesterday afternoon and found our hotel with no problems. Second City was really funny. They did a free improv show afterwards that was good also. Today we are going sightseeing and pretty much having a "free" day. Hope to add more later.

19 More Hours

Since we are doing another vacation, I have decided to do another blog. No it will not compete with Europe, but it will do. We are flying out of Shreveport tomorrow at 12:30 heading to Chicago. Sherman and Tracy Cassels are going with Laura and I. Our plan for tomorrow is to get to the hotel, get checked in and settled, and the head out to Second City Comedy Club. It is a very famous comedy club where many famous actor/comedians got there start: Stephen Colbert, Chris Farley, Tim Meadows, Mike Myers, John Candy, etc. It should be a lot of fun!
